Memories Book

Just a little Altered Book.I really enjoyed doing this project.

Black and Orange....

I just used basic stamping for this entry for Theme Thursday. I inked the background in black and orange. Then stamped on the bishop. On a separate piece of card I inked the background and stamped the bishop again plus some circles. I then cut strip out and positioned it over the original ATC.

Blessing ATC

Here's an ATC I made today.

Skinny Saturday/Discover....

With this Skinny I smudged the background using stencil paint. When I brought the paint it had a skin on the top when I pulled this off it came away dry and clean,So I stamped on top of it and stuck it to my skinny. I then added a few lines and a piece of twisted wire.

Halo of Orange....

This is my entry for Crazy Amigo's Challenge.
Smudged the background using stencil paint.Stamped my face image and flowers. The effect in
the middle was achieved by using matte accents, to this I dripped some alcohol ink, then heated it with a heat gun. This then bubbles and bursts. This is the effect you get once it is cold.

Bishop's Miter....

Dotted some acrylic dimensional writer's in different colours. Then smudged them.Once smudged I then reapplied the dots and let them dry to give dimension. Using black ink I stamped my Bishop.

She.....

Inked the background, added the ladies image and over stamped.
Used chipboard letters for the word"She"and distressed round the edges.

Domino ATC...

I ripped some of the surface of the ATC away. Sponged the background. Then over stamped in the corner with the fern stamp.I stamped the image onto the domino using stazon.

Love is in the air....

Inked background. Tore the image and inked the edges, over stamped the bottom of the ATC.Added some ribbon and a rub on and this is the result.

Wondering....

Just a little Moo I made today. Used acrylics for the background, took inspiration for the colours from the image that I downsized.

Tree of Hope....

Tree of Hope is my entry for Wednesday Stamper Challenge.
I smudged the edges of the ATC with a little beige ink. Then using the tree stamp from one of Anna Griffin's stamp sets, I stamped the blue and purple image.Around the trunk I cut two slits and thread a piece of purple cord through.I attached the chipboard word as ribbons tied around trees are often looked upon as a symbol of hope.

Butterfly Moo..

On this Moo I just stamped the butterflies.Added a bit of green metallic ink to the wings. In the top right hand corner I added a bead to some wire bent it a few times and added another bead to the end .Then attached is to the Moo and added a little black ink to the edges.

Eye,Eye...

I stamped the eye image, then cut it into two Moo's. Around the edges I punched some holes.Through these I thread some wire and at the bottom I added some beads.

Asian Arch...

Here is my entry for the Gothic Arch challenge.
I made the arch out of some bamboo card . Then cut out the section in the middle and placed the picture in from behind.I then stamped on the edges. At the top I added a metal dragonfly, which I distressed and inked to help it blend in better.

Words...

This is my entry for the Make a Moo or Two challenge.
I inked around the edge of the Moo. Added the little poem. Attached the ribbon and the ribbon flowers. Then found these tiny dragonfly rub ons.

BELIEVE...

This is my entry for Mixed Media Monday.
Found this image among a book of images I have. Then using similar colours inked three quarters of the way down the ATC.
Attached the words Believe and Life Is Beautiful. Then found a piece of ribbon in the same colour as the background, tied it in a not and attached it .

Spring.....

This is my entry for TMTA challenge.I inked the background of the ATC by using some plastic packing sheet that a parcel was wrapped in. I put ink over it and then put the blank ATC on top of it. I then cut the image out , stuck it down then added the bird. The' happy spring 'was a rub on that I had.

Pink' and Brown's ATC..

This is my entry for Theme Thursday's challenge. I used some paper on the background then over inked it . Stamped the lady's head image and cut it out and placed it onto my ATC.When looking through my embellishment box I found Best friend chipboard sticker.

Romantic Moo...

I made this Moo using a strip of card which I painted with acrylics. I then added a strand of fibre down the side. The image was added last. I think she has a very romantic look to her...

Altered Bag

I really loved doing this . My brother brought the bag for me as a gift. This was one of my first projects

Glass Slide Mailers

I find the smaller objects a challenge. But great fun.

ATC Book

I made this ATC book as I needed somewhere to store my ATC's

Party Time...

A skinny using acrylics for the background, a couple of rub ons. Plus a little picture that I found in my craft box.

Beauty of the Soul

Inked the background. For the swirly lines I used stamp to make impressions into Fimo.
I then stamped the face and went over it with Charcoal. I have added colour to the lips and eyes ,but it doesn't show in this download.

Mother Like Daughter

Just an ATC that I made Stamped image and added a few acrylic lines.

Altered Treasures: Women At Work

Altered Treasures: Women At Work - Skinny Saturday

Women At Work

I have made this for my first Skinny challenge. I used acrylics on the background. Added some micro beads on the blue dots. Put acrylic onto a piece of string and pinged it onto the car for the lined effect.

Small Canvas

A little sparkly number.
This canvas was inked and smudged using baby wipes. To get the small check effect I used a piece of mesh as a stencil and rubbed the ink pad over the top. I drew the swirls using glue and sprinkled extra fine glitter over the top.
To achieve the gold twist in the middle , I tightly twisted ribbon and stuck each end down to keep it taught. Stamped the head and placed it behind a mount. Then added a few other bits and pieces.
Not really a glitter person, but I really liked the colour.

ATC's

Here are Just a few of the ATC's
that I have Made.

ATC Tin

Here is an ATC tin I altered. I used alcohol inks to achieve the base colour.Stamped around the bottom with a fern stamp. I wanted to achieve a summer garden theme. The handle is covered by wrapping ribbon around it and I then attached a metal butterfly charm. I used a few more embellishments including chipboard letters to form the ATC on the front.

Circle Book

I have to say thank you to Carrie, as I used her template for this circle book. It was good fun to do. Took a little time, but hey I like to work on projects and see them evolve.

Medieval Arch

I like this one, because to me it is subtle and has a romantic medieval feel.

Variation on the Gothic Arch

JUST WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT

Inked and stamped with butterflies front and middle .
It also continues on the back.

Ripped some paper and placed it in the middle, again inked over the edges.I cut out some angel images and placed them on and under the paper.

On the front I punched and thread some fibres down the sides.

Chose pinks this time as I tend to use more muted colours and thought the"book" lends itself to those colours best.

A few more arches......

Like the shape of this one.

Here are a couple more I have completed. Thought you may like to take a look. This one is on glossy card with a little wire woven down each side.

Gothic Arches

Well, I have just found Gothic Arches and love doing them.
This is one of my first attemps.
Used various inks and rub ons for the background. Found an oval appature and placed the face behind it. Again used rub ons around the edge . Punched 5 holes and placed screwhead snaps down the side and wound some wool round them just to add a little texture. Added a few other embellishments .......

My Very First Canvas

This is my first canvas....... not too bad but you learn as you go along don't you.
All I have to do now is enrol for photography lessons. But practice makes perfect so they say.....

Butterflies and Fairies 8x10 canvas...

This is my second attempt at an 8x10 canvas.
Inked the background and smudged it with a baby wipe. Stamped blossom in blue around the edge. Stamped dark blue butterflies the over stamped them in light blue. On a piece of card again stamped two butterflies, cut them out and 3d them on to 2 stamped butterfly images. Stuck 4 glass beads in the corner and an image of a fairy and that was that.Quite pleased with my second attempt.
